LM901 is for single swing gates, and LM902 is for double swing gates.
G'day John I recently installed lock master LM902 dual actuator. I had a qualified sparky install them. They worked for a couple of week until one day the arms seem to struggle to open. The noise was still coming from the control box at 1st without the gates openning but now even that has stopped. I got my sparky to come back to check it out. He said he has power in the control box but nothing going to the arms. He suggested that the switches above where all the wires get connected may not be working. He really didn't want too touch it without fully knowing. I was wondering if you could help me solve this problem . Looking forward to hear from you thank you
ReplyDeleteI purchased the LM902 in 2012. After I purchased it I was concerned about the number of negative reviews about the product. Despite this I liked everything about it, it installed really well and came with all the right brackets and connectors. It has worked perfectly for the last 3 years and it's even survived the elements, I also have a spare motor actuator because I bought the dual kit. I had a bad experience with this guy who kept his bees on my property, he didn't know I had an electric opener and forced the gate open, breaking the mounting that held the actuator. This is something you need to be careful of, don't let anyone touch the gate it can't be manually opened or closed.
